Why visit The Ridge Bible Church?
At TRBC, our aim is to, “Magnify Christ and Multiply His Kingdom.” At our Sunday morning worship service, we lift our voices in worship, pray together with conviction, and study God’s Word with open hearts.
If you are seeking a church that values authentic worship and Biblical preaching, you will feel right at home here.
In 1Thessalonians 5, the Apostle Paul instructed the church in Christian conduct - first toward other believers (5:12-15) and then in their worship (5:16-22). Paul doesn’t deal with length of services, or types of music. However, he does give us four areas of attitudes about worship:
Rejoice in the Lord always - worship should be joyous because we have so much about which to rejoice. We have the sacrifice of the Lord, the promise of heaven, and the presence of the Holy Spirit. We have every reason to worship joyfully.
Pray continually - Prayer is an important focus at TRBC. On Sunday mornings, corporate prayer is led by one of the elders. Monthly prayer meetings are another time we gather for prayer. We believe prayer should be a natural part of our lives as we submit ourselves to our Heavenly Father and listen for His voice.
Give thanks in every circumstance - While we are not told to give thanks for EVERY circumstance, we are encouraged to give thanks IN every circumstance. Because of God’s great work and the Spirit of Jesus in our lives, we have reason to give thanks no matter what happens.
Hear the Word with gratitude and appreciation, not condemning or critiquing, but examining the Word and holding on to what is good and rejecting what is evil - Paul’s words show the importance of preaching and teaching and doing so with humility and conviction. At TRBC, we devote at least half of our worship service to the ministry of the Word of God. Come examine The Word as we grow in our faith in Christ together.
We hope you will choose to visit The Ridge Bible Church. Join us in celebrating God’s goodness through worship music, prayer, and the study of God’s Word. We look forward to meeting you in-person and spending time together in God’s presence.
